BrightStar Care of Southwest Atlanta & College Park provides in-home nursing and personal care to clients. We are hiring Registered Nurses for one-on-one clinical work in clients' homes.
The role
You care for one client at a time, in their home. You report to our Director of Nursing, who is a nurse and directs clinical oversight.
Skilled nursing procedures include:
- IV therapy and injections, including infusions and IV starts
- Enteral feedings
- Bowel and bladder care
- Wound care
You may also complete in-home assessments for new and existing clients.
Pay and schedule
- $40 to $55 per hour, based on experience and case complexity
- PRN and part-time shifts available
- Mileage reimbursement for travel between clients
- Paid weekly, with direct deposit available
- Paid time off, accruing after 3 months of employment
Where you work
Our territory covers 14 ZIP codes in Fulton County, including Midtown, Southwest Atlanta, and College Park. We match nurses to clients near them.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the plan of care and perform skilled nursing procedures
- Complete in-home client assessments
- Report changes in condition to the Director of Nursing
- Teach clients and family caregivers
- Complete documentation to Georgia home care regulations and agency policy
Requirements
- Active Georgia RN license, or a multistate license valid for practice in Georgia
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Current First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check and TB screening
